Job Summary:

AJ FOX COMPLIANCE is seeking a highly skilled Risk Contracts Lawyer to join our team in London. As a Risk Contracts Lawyer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the firm's legal and regulatory compliance, while mitigating emerging risks associated with procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the firm's compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to commercial law and contract negotiation.
  • Mitigate risks associated with business operations, including procurement and contracting.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of laws and regulations relative to procurement and contracting.
  • Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
  • Provide legal advice regarding contract negotiations, procurements, and dispute resolution.
  • Identify areas for improvement within current procurement processes and workflows.
  • Deliver training to internal teams on legal compliance, contract management, and procurement.

Requirements:

  • A working knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in commercial law and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • An eye for detail, ambition, and the ability to hit the ground running.
