Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Blom and Blom. As a key member of our nursery leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery, including staff supervision and development.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted Standards.
  • Work closely with the nursery team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the nursery's curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all children.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and healthcare providers, to ensure seamless transitions and support for children.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Senior Early Years Practitioner or Deputy Nursery Manager.
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining high-quality care and education practices.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted Standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the nursery.
