Senior Systems Architect (Land/Weapons)

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000

Location: Bristol office - 1 day a week on-site, remainder remote

We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Architect to join a defence consultancy in Bristol. This role demands a seasoned professional with a robust background in weapons systems or land-based hardware, particularly in the area of requirements management.

The successful candidate will be expected to attend the Bristol office once a week.

Holding a current and valid SC clearance is essential for commencing employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage requirements within the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), specifically with Frontline Commands or Delivery Agents.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Complex Weapons, including need elicitation, performance evaluation, and service acceptance.
  • Ideally, have knowledge of the Land domain.
  • Understand the relationship between test and evaluation activities and requirements elicitation.
  • Familiarity with complex system of systems projects and programmes, particularly regarding integration activities and system performance setting and acceptance.
