About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our Strategy&Governance team within the Digital & Technology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering frequent value to our users incrementally, shaping the ways of working across all aspects of the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply agile principles and practices to teams, including facilitating agile events when necessary
  • Have a flexible approach to the end-to-end delivery of projects, expertly tailoring agile methodologies to ensure they are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards
  • Foster a high-performing team environment, ensuring effective communication and coordination among team members, conflict management and resolution, and collaboration with other departments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are managed and their requirements are understood and addressed
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any issues that may impact project delivery
  • Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right skills and expertise are available to deliver projects successfully
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices to enhance project delivery processes
  • Be the point of communication for project progress and provide up-to-date and realistic delivery estimates
  • Support Product Managers with informed goal setting, having a familiarity of sprint goal and OKR setting techniques
  • Have a data-informed approach to decision-making, especially when tailoring ways of working to team needs
Requirements
  • Experience working collaboratively with product managers, designers, and software developers, approaching challenges diplomatically and tactfully
  • Experience evaluating and applying concepts and techniques from multiple Agile (and related) methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • An analytical and creative approach to problem-solving
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals
  • Proven experience in managing stakeholders and building strong relationships with both internal and external parties
  • Commitment to EDI, ensuring an inclusive approach is taken into product and workstream delivery
