The Workshop is a family-owned construction and installation services company seeking an experienced Credit Controller and Billings Manager to join our existing finance team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled professional to manage our credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts while monitoring scheduled billings and sales certificates received for business payments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts
- Monitor scheduled billings and sales certificates received for business payments
- Prepare and process payment applications for ongoing contracts
- Prepare and monitor spreadsheets showing all applications issued and outstanding payment certificates/payments
- Set up projects on internal systems
- Assist the Finance Director with other accounts-based general duties
- Prepare and monitor debtor's report with detailed status of all monies owed
- Proven experience in a construction industry environment, specifically within credit control and billings - 2 years (required)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers
- Experience and competency in using Sage
- Working experience of Construct system
- Advanced Excel knowledge essential
Full-time - 35 hours per week
9am - 5pm (1 Hour lunch)
Salary: £30,000.00 - £45,000.00 per year depending on experience
