We are looking for a Mail Screening Officer to join us at our client site in Basingstoke where you will be required to provide a high calibre security and customer focused service within the OCB Data Centre and the recognised Offices locations of a leading financial organisation.
Operating within a small team, based in the incoming and outgoing mail hub, you will need to monitor and keep record of all mail / parcels, received using recognised systems, making good computer skills an essential part of this role accurately and efficiently.

**A typical day in the life as a Mail Screening Officer**:
- Delivery management / monitoring of all vehicles, persons and items coming onto site.
- Completing screening of all incoming mail using x-ray equipment to prevent entry of restricted items. Any large items that cannot be placed into the X Ray machine must be either pre notified or received by the addressee or onsite agent.
- Protect the client's staff and assets by effectively controlling access to the site and promoting security awareness.
