About the Role

Travelport is a leading travel retail platform that provides innovative solutions for businesses to connect with agencies and travelers. We're on a mission to power the future of travel, and we're looking for a talented Finance Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the integration of a newly formed team to build consistent practices and processes across Agency Commerce and Enterprise Technology.
  • Manage various stakeholders, both commercially and within finance, to drive world-class practices and ensure great outputs.
  • Oversee Opex analytics globally for the Agency and Travel partners business, producing in-depth analysis into key drivers of spend.
  • Collate and analyze budget and forecast data, ensuring accurate inputs and understanding of financial performance.
  • Ensure month-end close numbers are accurate, with any unresolved issues highlighted and escalated as necessary.
  • Build a close partnership with business partner roles and analyst roles to ensure an in-depth understanding of financial numbers and expectations.
  • Align with Enterprise Technology for month-end reporting and close partnership with Power BI.
  • Rationalize structure reporting to align with stakeholder needs, implementing reviewed structures with FMR, TM1, and Oracle.
  • Assist in the monthly preparation of reporting packs for Senior Management.
  • Deliver process improvements while enhancing current solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality information to tight deadlines for all levels of management.
  • Support Strategic Projects on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Provide ad-hoc FP&A support as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with business acumen.
  • Management experience is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in support roles.
  • Self-starter with initiative and effective communication skills.
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA) or late-stage active studier.
  • Practical experience in an accounting environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor approach to deal with different levels of management.
  • PC literacy, with experience in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Cognos, and Oracle.
  • Team player with maximum flexibility.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Consistent with a good standard of work, disciplined, and deadline-conscious.
  • Proven communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work with all aspects of the finance team.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry is a benefit but not a prerequisite.
