Clinical Negligence Paralegal Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join our team at QED Legal. As a Clinical Negligence Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our solicitors in managing a caseload, conducting legal research, and drafting legal documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Solicitors in Managing a Caseload: Provide administrative support to our solicitors, ensuring that cases are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct Legal Research: Conduct thorough research to stay up-to-date on relevant legal procedures and regulations.
  • Draft Legal Documents: Draft high-quality legal documents, including court documents and correspondence with clients.
  • Liaise with Clients: Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of the progress of their case.
  • Handle Administrative Tasks: Manage files, organize documents, and schedule meetings as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Paralegal in Clinical Negligence is required.
  • Knowledge of Legal Procedures: Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legal procedures and regulations.
  • Decision-Making and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
