Position Overview:

The Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of Privileged Account Management (PAM) solutions tailored for both on-premises and cloud environments. This dynamic position encompasses engineering tasks, hands-on support, and advanced troubleshooting, alongside project-based initiatives for two prominent PAM platforms (Hashicorp and CyberArk).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the deployment of Hashicorp Vault enterprise in a robust, highly available setting.
  • Optimize application onboarding and migration processes concerning secrets management within Hashicorp Vault and CyberArk.
  • Collaborate with IT teams across the organization to ensure consistent and effective adoption of Hashicorp Vault and CyberArk.
  • Enhance the Hashicorp Vault framework by integrating support for ephemeral identities and promoting zero-trust principles.
  • Design and implement PAM solutions that bolster security and compliance measures.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting, participate in on-call rotations, conduct disaster recovery tests, and devise solutions to minimize after-hours support demands.
  • Create processes, guidelines, and documentation for internal team use.
  • Assist teams in identifying, securely storing, and retrieving their credentials.
  • Offer training, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with PAM solutions, preferably with SaaS/Cloud vendors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in automation, CI/CD, orchestration, and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience with image lifecycle management tools like Packer.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Chef.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to clearly articulate concepts, use cases, and technologies related to DevOps, operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure accepted).
  • Understanding of relevant audit controls and their application to IAM services architecture, design, and processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, Go, Perl, PowerShell, and Ruby is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with CyberArk and personal password management tools is a plus.
  • Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework is preferred.

Education & Certification:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification or equivalent experience in PAM enterprise platforms.
