Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Residential Lettings Specialist to join our dynamic team at ProFind Property Recruitment. As a key member of our estate management team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all aspects of property management are delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Property Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all aspects of property management are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Regular Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections, ensuring any maintenance issues are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Tenant Communications: Handle tenant communications, including managing enquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.
  • Tenancy Lifecycle Management: Oversee the tenancy lifecycle, including conducting tenant check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring all tenancy documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Repairs and Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate and manage repairs and maintenance, liaising with contractors and ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies, including health and safety regulations and tenancy law.
  • Inventory Management: Prepare detailed inventories using innovative software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Rent Collection and Arrears Management: Handle all aspects of rent collection, including arrears management and ensuring prompt payments.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring all property files are kept in good order, and assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in property management within the residential lettings sector.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of property legislation and best practices.
  • Communication and Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, landlords, and contractors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using property management software, with experience in inventory management and conducting check-ins/check-outs being particularly desirable.
  • Problem-Solving and Time Management: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, handling multiple tasks with a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Proactive Approach: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence is essential.
