Our esteemed client, a leading audit firm in the UK, is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Associate or Assistant Manager to strengthen their Corporate Audit function in their Thames Valley office.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality client-based assignments, ensuring the team's audit work and reporting meets the highest standards.
- Lead and coach team members, managing relationships with clients and demonstrating excellent writing, research, and presentation skills.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and finalization of all areas of the audit assignment, providing solutions and seeking input for areas of concern and judgment.
- Manage risk (reputational, operational, and credit) in all interactions with clients, demonstrating a sense of urgency and understanding of how your work impacts the firm's ability to serve clients.
- Identify areas requiring improvement in the client's business processes and provide recommendations, preparing and delivering Audit Findings Reports to clients.
- Take primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget, gaining a full understanding of any discrepancies.
- Treat colleagues with fairness and respect, providing opportunities for everyone to contribute and succeed.
- Coach junior members of staff, sharing experience and knowledge appropriately, and providing on-the-job training for developing auditing skills and familiarity with the firm's audit methodology.
- ACA/ACCA/CA qualification essential.
- Solid foundation of auditing experience and relevant accounting standards.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
