We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Assistant Audit Manager to join our Corporate Audit team in our Thames Valley office.
About the Role:As an Assistant Audit Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit work, leading and coaching team members, and managing relationships with clients. You will assist in the planning, execution, and finalization of audit assignments, providing solutions and seeking input for areas of concern and judgment.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality audit work, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
- Lead and coach team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion of audit assignments.
- Manage relationships with clients, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and finalization of audit assignments, providing solutions and seeking input for areas of concern and judgment.
- Identify areas requiring improvement in client business processes and provide recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver Audit Findings Reports to clients.
- Monitor progress against budget and gain a full understanding of any deviations.
- Treat colleagues with fairness and respect, providing opportunities for everyone to contribute and succeed.
- Coach junior members of staff, sharing experience and knowledge appropriately.
- Provide on-the-job training for developing auditing skills and familiarity with our audit methodology.
- ACA/ACCA/CA qualification essential.
- Solid foundation of auditing experience and relevant accounting standards.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
