Belcan Workforce Solutions is in search of a BIM Project Lead for a prominent construction and regeneration organization. This role offers a full-time, permanent opportunity with a hybrid working model, necessitating on-site attendance a couple of times each week.
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for UK Security Clearance.
Role Summary:
In the capacity of BIM Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing both internal and external initiatives, working closely with architects, design teams, and contractors. Your primary duties will include formulating BIM execution strategies based on client specifications, performing clash detection, conducting model assessments, and verifying asset data integrity. You will lead a varied team, provide guidance, and ensure that project outcomes meet client standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and revise BIM execution strategies, ensuring adherence to ISO 19650 regulations.
- Utilize software such as Solibri for data validation and Navisworks for geometry analysis and clash detection.
- Oversee the common data environment, managing document and model repositories.
- Facilitate BIM meetings, oversee project timelines, and mentor team members.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Enscape, and Solibri.
- Demonstrated experience in a Leadership or Management capacity within the BIM sector.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards.
- In-depth understanding of common data environments and Electronic Data Management Systems, including Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Educational Background:
A degree or HNC/D in a BIM-related or engineering field is required.
This role is well-suited for a Senior or Principal BIM Technician or BIM Coordinator looking to advance their career trajectory.
