Senior Cost Controller

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our team at Wood. As a Senior Cost Controller, you will be responsible for preparing and reporting project cost budgets, tracking and managing project expenditure, and ensuring robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project cost budgets, including forecasting and cash-flow analysis
- Track and report project expenditure, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements and company policies
- Support the management of project budgets, actual and forecast costs, and the preparation and filing of project cost documentation
- Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement within the Cost team
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective cost management and control
Requirements:
- ISCED level 6 (Bachelors) Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience)
- Relevant cost experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow analysis
- Excellent knowledge of cost software and related principles, tools, and techniques
- Strong understanding of project execution procedures for cost management, including change management
- Advanced ability to develop project cost budgets and change estimates
- Strong understanding of earned value application, cost and schedule variance analyses/trending, and what-if scenarios
- Excellent understanding of project management principles and techniques
- Strong understanding of Cost Management, Change Control, Planning & Risk Analysis & Management
