Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment, a leading technical recruitment agency based in the UK. Our client is a private Quantity Surveying Consultancy based in Poole, with a proven track record of success and a strong reputation in the industry.

Job Summary:

  • Provide cost estimating and valuation services to clients across various sectors, including marine and commercial projects.
  • Manage risk and ensure project financial control and reporting.
  • Perform employers' agent duties and contract administration.
  • Procure and tender for projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
  • Extensive experience in quantity surveying, with a strong understanding of cost estimating and valuation.
  • Excellent communication and numerate skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience of PQS software.
  • Ability to travel to sites as required, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Full driving license.
