As a valued member of the team, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to deliver month-end management accounts for specific business units, providing insight on performance vs plan to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Month-End Management Accounts: Deliver accurate and timely management accounts for multiple business units, highlighting year-on-year variances.
- Budget Control: Work with senior stakeholders to provide insight on performance vs plan, ensuring business units are achieving their financial objectives.
- Financial Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and present recommendations to the Finance Manager.
- Medium and Longer-Term Financial Planning: Support the development of medium and longer-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- General Ledger Integrity: Review and maintain the integrity of the general ledgers for each business unit.
The successful candidate will be a finalist or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) with a background in management accounts and experience reviewing large volumes of data in Excel. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for presenting financial performance to senior management. This opportunity offers flexibility, with the option to work from home.
