Job Title: Trainee High Voltage Technician- Onshore Wind

Vattenfall is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our UK HV Operations Team as a Trainee High Voltage Technician- Onshore Wind. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with maintenance and construction services for HV assets across the UK in our Onshore Renewables portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of HV equipment, including electrical testing and fault finding.
  • Interpret electrical drawings and records, and carry out electrical modifications and repairs.
  • Complete assessment and completion reports, and provide safety from the system for contractors and individuals.
  • Assess safety and apply controls and safety measures required, and facilitate a safe working environment during high/low voltage working.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of Vattenfall.
Requirements:
  • Full driver's License
  • B Tec Level 3 or equivalent
  • Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant and can-do attitude.
  • Highly organised and tidy.
  • Must have a positive and confident approach to tasks.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, within/ or leading a team when called on.
  • Must be able to work at height when required.
