Focus Group, a leading independent provider of essential business technology, is seeking a dedicated Project Management Assistant to join our dynamic Enterprise Team. We pride ourselves on delivering innovative digital workplace solutions to a diverse range of clients across the UK.

The Enterprise Delivery team is responsible for implementing intricate and tailored technical solutions for our major clients, contributing significantly to our revenue. As a vital member of this team, the Project Management Assistant will provide exceptional support to the project manager while also managing specific tasks within extensive projects and individual orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing project plans alongside project managers, ensuring effective communication and engagement with all relevant departments while maintaining a superior customer experience.
  • Monitor project progress actively to guarantee delivery aligns with requirements and timelines.
  • Evaluate feedback from clients and technical teams to ensure all needs are met, reporting any changes in scope or assumptions to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Oversee smaller, individual site orders as part of larger rollout projects.
  • Provide timely updates to internal systems to maintain visibility of project status and adherence to governance protocols.
  • Track risks and issues for each project, managing them through to resolution or acceptable mitigation.
  • Participate in project meetings with clients, project managers, and technical leads as necessary.
  • Promptly escalate significant issues to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated commitment to project coordination with the ability to manage multiple project demands efficiently.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to follow established processes and build rapport with clients and colleagues while handling concerns professionally.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on quality and targets.
  • Strong numerical, written, and data entry skills.
  • Ability to convey clear and concise information to various audiences, both verbally and in writing.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with effective prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel, ensuring accurate project and customer documentation.
  • Ability to produce well-structured and informative documentation.
