About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rights Coordinator to join our Research & Rights Management Team. As a key member of the team, you will support the Rights Manager & Research Manager with all rights clearance of archive footage, VO, and audio, as well as administration of associated documentation and finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external footage suppliers.
  • Provide consultation to client production partners on research and archive clearance best practices.
  • Proactively manage archive footage clearances, contracts, and licenses across multiple productions, delegating tasks to the rights assistant as needed.
  • Maintain key administrative documents related to footage archive, rights clearance, and VO, tracking all rights in place and their expiration dates.
  • Manage all budgets, cost reports, payments, and invoicing associated with footage, archive, stills, VO, and music usage and clearance fees.
  • Assist the Production Accountant with monthly financial reports.
  • Book additional freelancer support when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Rights Manager and Research Manager to develop training materials and facilitate knowledge sharing on rights clearance processes.
Working Conditions

This is a fixed-term contract position until January 2026. You will work standard office hours, Monday to Friday, at our Chiswick Park location in West London.

Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of the pre-production, production, and post-production process.
  • Experience liaising with clients and agencies or similar customer-facing experience.
  • Experience working with small budgets.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word software packages.
  • Excellent client liaison and management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Keenness to learn and take on more responsibility.
  • A team player with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Thorough and ordered approach to work with strong attention to detail.
  • Shows initiative, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize and manage workload.
