Job Description

A leading FMCG business in the North West is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to join their team at Axon Moore Group Ltd.

About the Role

  • As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will provide financial control and management reporting to challenge and support the sales and operations teams to achieve their corporate and budgetary requirements.
  • You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of accurate costing in all aspects of the business, including business partnering with Business Unit Directors and influencing where required.
  • Additionally, you will support the development and maintenance of a pricing strategy, develop a simple monthly review of margin performance, and identify margin and profit enhancement opportunities.
  • You will also provide the business with sales and cost analysis reports to assist with management decision making, lead a detailed review of all product related costs, and refine the approach to standard costing.
  • Furthermore, you will establish a control framework to ensure cost is always considered in product/customer decision making.

About You

  • You will be a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, with experience of working cross functionally with other departments.
  • You will be a confident communicator, with an ability to challenge and influence where required.
  • You will have a strong understanding of financial control and management reporting, as well as experience of developing and maintaining accurate costing and pricing strategies.
