Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Salford Community Safety Partnership. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage budgets and financial plans to ensure the organization's financial goals are met.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their financial duties.

Requirements:

  • At least AAT qualified with practical experience working in a financial environment.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of finance systems, including reconciliations, forecasting, and budget setting.
  • Experience of supervising staff and evidence of payroll, HMRC, and other external agencies to ensure relevant payments and tax contributions are being made correctly.
  • IT skills with the ability to work confidently in Excel to manipulate and analyze data.
