About the Role:
GSL Education - Chelmsford is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students with diverse needs to thrive academically and socially within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEN.
- Assist teachers in adapting learning materials and strategies to meet individual needs.
- Support students with behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
- Monitor and track student progress, reporting to teachers and the SEN team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN in a school or educational setting.
- Understanding of various SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
- A relevant qualification in SEN support or education is desirable but not essential.
