EV Project Coordinator

Location: Remote / Hybrid role

The landscape of energy is evolving, and we are in search of a skilled EV Project Coordinator to facilitate the execution of Electric Vehicle and Digital initiatives across our organization, delivering a diverse array of solutions to our customers. You will manage multiple intricate projects from their initial stages to completion, ensuring that the delivery of designated products and services adheres to established timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing both the physical implementations and the subsequent process and business transformations, ensuring that changes are effectively integrated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive project plans for standard installations, while also assisting with more complex projects and key accounts.
  • Facilitate the installation of standard Electric Vehicle, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), and digital payment solutions, coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders to guarantee safe, budget-compliant, and timely project execution.
  • Evaluate the performance, health and safety, and quality of selected contractors, providing necessary reports to the project management team.
  • Support the design team as needed, offering site-level insights into construction design, preferably in electrical disciplines.
  • Identify and manage all operational risks at the site level, escalating issues as required.
  • Projects will encompass installations of parking equipment, ANPR systems, contract mobilization, data migration, and the integration of digital payment solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in delivering Electrical Installation Projects with effective team management.
  • Several years of experience in Project Management within a similar context, demonstrating the ability to juggle and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Essential knowledge of Electric Vehicle Charging with a strong enthusiasm for Electric Vehicles and related Infrastructure projects.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred, along with robust Microsoft IT skills or qualifications equivalent to NVQ/C&G level 3 in electrical installation.

Additional Requirements:

  • BS7671 Certification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CDM responsibilities throughout project delivery.
