Job Title: Security Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Service Engineer to join our team at Griffin Fire. As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fire protection and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of fire protection and security systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Identify and rectify any issues or defects with the systems, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments to ensure that our systems remain effective and efficient.
Requirements:
  • Full understanding of BS5839 Part 1 and other relevant industry standards.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fire detection and alarm systems, including VESDA, Radio, and Fire Suppression systems.
  • Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA) and manufacturers training in all other equipment required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred knowledge and capabilities on working on manufacturers Siemens and Gent analogue Fire alarm systems.
