About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Operator to join our team at On Target Recruitment Ltd. As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating the loading shovel and weighbridge on a daily basis, working alongside the Plant Manager, Assistant Manager, and three operatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the loading shovel and weighbridge safely and efficiently
  • Work closely with the Plant Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure smooth operations
  • Take responsibility for your own Health and Safety and any visitors or contractors to the site
  • Work a typical Monday-Friday 6am-3pm schedule, with occasional Saturdays 6am-9am

Requirements
  • Experience of working within the construction sector operating a loading shovel or weighbridge
  • Individuals with experience of working in a Quarry are encouraged to apply

  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers
