About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Planner to join our dynamic and success-driven internal planning consultancy based in our Head Office in Ringwood.

As an Associate Planner, you will be a pivotal part of our national growth drive strategies, working closely with our 5 regional offices to assess new sites for development potential and check planning constraints with local authorities.

You will be responsible for liaising with our Design team to ensure the best approach is delivered for each scheme, attending initial planning meetings, preparing planning applications, and monitoring planning applications.

Our Associate Planners have a real influence on the success of our planning applications and schemes, and you will get to see your efforts rewarded with successful planning applications and customers who love their independent, safe, and secure retirement home.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a thorough understanding of Planning Policies, procedures, and law, with a PQE in public or private practice.

You must be a member of MRTPI, and ideally have a Degree/Diploma in Town Planning.

You will have proven negotiation, communication, and influencing skills, as you will be liaising with a wide range of external contacts to resolve issues.
