Senior Water Treatment Technician Job Description

This is a remote position that requires a skilled and experienced Senior Water Treatment Technician to support the client's objectives to maintain the efficiency, effectiveness, and longevity of commercial water systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety, water systems, and implementing successful water hygiene and treatment strategies.

Senior Water Treatment Technician Offer:
  • Hours per week: 08:00 to 17:00 negotiable, 40 hour week
  • Salary: ranging between $30k to $35k Depending on Experience
  • 25 days holiday (not including bank holidays)
  • Pension scheme after 3 full months service (3% employer contribution, 5% employee)
  • Overtime available but not guaranteed
  • Tablet and phone

  • Employee referral scheme of $1000
Senior Water Treatment Technician Duties:
  • Temperature checks
  • Water sampling
  • TMV inspection and servicing
  • Shower cleans and disinfection
  • Tank inspections and cleans
  • Chlorination works
  • Service and replacement of water softeners and filters
  • Ensure water hygiene and water treatment maintenance, servicing, and repair works are carried out in accordance with the client's standards and legislation
  • Attend emergency callouts during and outside of normal working hours
  • Wearing relevant company-issued PPE and clothing
  • Submit clear and concise service reports and timesheets
Senior Water Treatment Technician Requirements:
  • Knowledge of water treatment and water hygiene
  • Knowledge of Legionella
  • Knowledge of commercial plumbing
  • Knowledge of building services
  • Valid driving license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
