About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Cavell Centre, specializing in providing care for older adults with dementia and/or functional mental health conditions.

As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in assessing patients' needs and developing individualized treatment plans. Your expertise will guide individuals through structured interventions aimed at enhancing their independence, well-being, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to understand patients' strengths, challenges, and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual and group sessions, tailored to meet patients' specific needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative programs and activities that promote recovery and well-being.
