Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Support in the delivery of geo-environmental and geotechnical projects, demonstrating strong technical, commercial, and project management capabilities.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
  • Project Management: Manage project and team finance, work closely with clients, and exhibit a proactive approach to project delivery.
  • Technical Expertise: Design site investigation works, review geo-environmental Phase 1 & 2 reports, and provide technical support to junior staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: Practical experience in designing, supervising, and managing ground investigations for geo-environmental and/or geotechnical assessments on a wide range of sites.
  • Qualifications: BSc degree level qualified in Geology, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, or a related subject. MSc in Land contamination/hydrogeology or Engineering Geology/Geotechnical Engineering or Contaminated Land is preferable but not essential.
  • Professional Membership: Chartered Geologist, Scientist, or Engineer with a relevant professional body or working towards Chartered status with a relevant institution.
  • Years of Experience: Typically requires at least 10+ years specific relevant experience.
