Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs Officer to join our team at Dementia UK. As a key member of our Policy, Campaigns and Public Affairs department, you will play a vital role in shaping our organization's public affairs strategy and promoting our mission to improve the lives of people affected by dementia.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong understanding of public affairs, policy, and communications. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective public affairs strategies to support our organizational goals, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and providing expert advice to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement public affairs strategies to support organizational goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, policymakers, and industry leaders
  • Provide expert advice to our leadership team on public affairs and policy matters
  • Monitor and analyze public affairs trends and developments, identifying opportunities and challenges for Dementia UK
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective communications strategies
  • Contribute to the development of policy briefs, reports, and other materials to support our public affairs efforts
