About Finance at THGFinance at THG is a rapidly growing and evolving team, covering all areas of finance from central functions such as accounts receivable and payable, treasury, tax, and internal audit, to specific commercial teams for each of our divisions; Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health, and Brands.
As the business expands and takes on new challenges in the form of acquired businesses or new ventures, finance is there to support every step of the way, leading to dynamic and challenging roles – no two days are the same. About the RoleThe Nutrition Finance function sits across both the commercial and financial structures at THG. A unique function offering the opportunity to business partner across all areas of the division, helping to drive trading performance and profitability, support growth and innovation, as well as delivering strong financial control and reporting.
This role is within the Nutrition Division's Finance function, reporting into the Head of Finance, and offers exposure to the division's online brands.
Key Responsibilities- Production of timely and accurate management reporting to drive decision-making.
- A proactive approach to P&L performance, acting quickly on both risks and opportunities.
- Business partnering with commercial teams to understand areas of profit improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- A confident mindset, comfortable in dealing with a wide range of non-financial key stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to work effectively with other finance teams within the divisions, including FP&A and SSC.
- Continuous improvement of processes.
- An aspiring leader, who thrives on being able to drive and work with an ambitious team to achieve defined group profit initiatives.
- Identifying and carrying out training of the finance team in line with their objectives.
- Qualified Accountant (preferably ACA, CIMA, or ACCA).
- Experience in management accounting and financial control, preferably in the retail sector.
- Ability to work with Senior Stakeholders and SLT.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
