Key Responsibilities

As a Management Accountant Trainee, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the month-end process, including balance sheet reconciliation, project and job costing, profitability analysis, and reviewing the invoice finance facility.

You will also process journals (including payroll), accruals, and prepayments, as well as supporting the finance team. Your key responsibility will be to present a set of monthly management accounts, including commentary on variances, budget versus actual, and articulating this in the monthly pack to the Financial Controller.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a recent track record in management accounting, with a strong IT skills in accounting packages, as well as Excel, including data manipulation, V-Lookups, and Pivot Tables.

You will also need to be studying your professional ACCA/CIMA qualification or have equivalent experience.
