Care and Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Care and Support Worker. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in various settings, assisting them with daily living activities and promoting their well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including dressing, bathing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Provide mobility assistance and support individuals with physical disabilities, incontinence, and the use of personal aids and equipment.
  • Accompany clients on outings to the community, such as shopping trips, social events, or medical appointments.
  • Offer compassionate care to clients who are temporarily ill or recovering from surgery, assisting with bed nursing, feeding, and other essential needs.
  • Provide support to terminally ill clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity during this sensitive time.
  • Encourage mental and physical stimulation through conversation, outings, reading, writing, hobbies, and recreational activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as making beds, changing linens, emptying commodes, and general tidying.
  • Support clients in educational settings, assisting with their learning and daily routines.
  • Provide specialized care for clients requiring tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, or other complex health conditions.
  • Prepare and serve light meals, ensuring proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, contributing to client reviews and training activities.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
