Resident Site Manager Job Description

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for providing on-site leadership and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and enforce Westinghouse's codes of business ethics and conduct, ensuring all employees under your supervision are informed and compliant.
  • Provide on-site customer support, representing Westinghouse's ability to respond to customer needs and providing valuable customer information to build relationships and understand site needs.
  • Identify customer needs and communicate with sales and product teams to identify potential solutions, collect marketplace data, and communicate with relevant account managers.
  • Grow the pipeline by identifying and evaluating customer needs, reviewing bid specifications, and proposing solutions.
  • Execute oversight of field project managers, providing guidance, coaching, and oversight of scope development, schedule development, and contingency planning.
  • Supervise Westinghouse personnel on site, provide feedback on individual and team performance, and work with customers to remove barriers to project completion.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 10 years of engineering or field experience, with prior field service, outage, and/or on-site utility experience.
  • Significant customer-facing experience at the plant and corporate level.
  • Broad-based technical knowledge of plant operations and application of field service engineering techniques, principles, and practices.
  • Experience in complex contract management, customer negotiations, and supplier delivery.
  • Leadership experience as a Manager.
