About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Cambian Somerset School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the curriculum and providing in-session support to engage and progress learning for students.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to fostering independence and a passion for lifelong learning. You will work closely with the Tutor to follow session plans and schemes of work, and report on the progress of students to inform future planning.

Main Responsibilities
  • Utilize strategies from students' Positive Behaviour Support Plans to engage effectively in learning.
  • Develop learning resources that are individualized to meet students' communication needs.
  • Support students to engage in a range of enrichment activities.
