Job Summary:

As a Manual Machinist at Weldfit, you will be responsible for the operation of manual machines, performing machine maintenance and repairs, and adhering to company safety rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual machines to produce high-quality parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Report any manufacturing errors or incidents to your supervisor.
  • Adhere to company safety rules and regulations at all times.
  • Participate in quality checks on parts using inspection devices.
  • Collaborate with your supervisor to achieve good production results.
  • Discuss ways to improve processes in the shop with the plant manager.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read blueprints and machine drawings.
  • Understanding of manufacturing documents and specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of fractions, decimals, and trigonometry.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
