About the Role

Potts Print (UK) is seeking a skilled Print Finisher to join our Operations Division. As a Print Finisher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality production of print finishing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate a variety of print finishing equipment, including die cutters, carton gluers, folders, booklet makers, and guillotines.
  • Use hand tools to adjust machine settings as needed and monitor machine operation to ensure quality of finished products.
  • Inspect finished items for accuracy and conformity to specifications, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the finishing process, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Manage multiple jobs and tasks simultaneously, and be able to adjust immediately to changing priorities.
  • Communicate with other departments during the production process, and adhere to the Company's Quality, Health and Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience operating print finishing equipment is essential for this role.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to operate print finishing equipment effectively.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team, with attention to detail and knowledge of maintaining health & safety, quality, and hygiene controls within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with manual handling is desirable, but not necessary.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week on a flexible shift rotation, with a competitive salary based on experience.
