Job Summary:

LVRECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a highly skilled Customs Brokerage Agent to join their team. As a key member of the international transportation industry, this role requires a strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely client billing and invoicing.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of import and export customs regulations, including the DLSOP.
  • Enter accurate and timely data into the operating system, ensuring seamless customs clearance.
  • Transpose customs declaration information from documents and other sources into the customs entry system.
  • Verify customs declaration information and submit it to the customs authority.
  • Track and trace Customs files, ensuring timely clearance of cargo.
  • Interact with customs authorities to address any issues or questions arising during the clearing process.
  • Attend customs inspections and present documents to customs authorities as required.
  • Ensure timely customs clearance of cargo for Import and Export shipments.
  • Verify documents received for Import and Export customs purposes are compliant and correct.
  • Interact with customers to arrange international shipments, meeting customer service standards.
  • Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with customs officers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Word and Excel.
  • Good attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Able to work in an office environment full-time.
