About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Practitioner to join our NGAGE Young People's Service in Northampton. As a key member of our team, you will provide advice, assessments, and interventions to support young people aged 10-18 who are struggling with drug and alcohol issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and provide relevant advice and support to young people and their families
  • Develop and deliver group programmes and interventions to promote positive change
  • Work closely with voluntary and statutory agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage a caseload and maintain accurate records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work, or a related field. You will also have experience of working in the substance misuse field and be familiar with alcohol and drug-related issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with service users, families, and external agencies.
