About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Senior Adviser to join our Faculty of Engineering, Computing & Environment at Kingston University. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our students and staff across two campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide guidance on health and safety best practices.
- Manage health and safety requirements for student field trips and ensure that all necessary precautions are taken.
- Collaborate with faculty members and staff to promote a culture of health and safety awareness.
About You
We are looking for an experienced health and safety professional with a strong understanding of health and safety requirements in engineering-based teaching and research laboratories. A NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent is a requirement for this post. You will have a willingness to undertake this training on appointment if this qualification is not already held and be committed to your ongoing professional development.
