We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Technologist to join our Technical team at Bakkavor Meals, Boston. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical expertise to our customers, suppliers, and the wider business, advising on legal, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to all functions, including administrative tasks related to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements.
- Generate Technical Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Reports and ensure effective trending on Non-Conformance, complaints, microbiological, and nutritional surveillance.
- Support Pest Control coordination and visit compliance.
- Maintain the Allergen Risk Assessment by ensuring all relevant procedures are implemented and changes made to reflect the needs of the business.
- Data entry, trending, information requests, coordination of actions, change management procedure, and communicating to relevant parties.
- Completion of traceability exercises throughout the site alongside other functions.
- Communication: ensure effective, professional, and timely customer communication.
- Communicate relevant information into specific forums to ensure the site is audit-ready at all times.
- Conduct audits as part of the internal QMS and report into relevant forums.
- Work with the Technical management team and communicate outstanding areas and additions to standards to ensure compliance with all current relevant standards, Codes of Practice (COP), and legislation.
- Specs: work alongside the site Specification Technologist to generate and update finished product specs to meet customer requirements.
- Support the team with export documentation compliance, including managing export vet officer visits.
- Deputise and support others in the Technical team in all tasks as required and be flexible to cover different work.
- Technical experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Flexible approach to work and professional at all times.
