Multi Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Multi Skilled Painter and Decorator. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering a professional and cost-effective service to our customers, maintaining and improving their homes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake painting and decorating tasks within our portfolio of properties, ensuring works are completed within budget, on time, and to a high standard.
- Perform multi-skilled ancillary tasks associated with the primary role objective, including basic carpentry, tiling, plumbing, and plastering.
- Mentor, coach, and develop apprentices and other members of staff.
- Ensure all repairs are completed within the specified time to a required standard and conform to current regulations.
- Drive an allocated works vehicle, pre-inspect, identify, and obtain resources, materials, and plant required to complete a repair to the required standard.
- Accurately record work time, materials, and plant used to complete a repair, ensuring maximization of resources.
- Ensure the safe use and safe storage of any plant issued, reporting any defects.
- Conduct daily safety checks of the allocated works vehicle and record findings in the appropriate manner.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across the business internally and externally.
- Proven experience in painting and decorating, with a strong understanding of multi-skilled tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Valid driving license and ability to drive an allocated works vehicle.
