Contracts Manager

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Frequent travel between Stevenage and Chippenham office

LOCATION: Stevenage or Chippenham (Typically 3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote)

TYPE: Full time (Part time also available)

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, negotiate and facilitate the execution of commercial contracts for transactions of varied complexity
  • Strategically advise the multi-functional team on the most appropriate commercial direction for each opportunity
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with vendors, internal and external clients and other business connections as appropriate
  • Act as the contract focal point for the Customer and the Programme Team for all contractual matters on the relevant programmes
  • Be the lead for In-Life Contract Management activities for customer contracts
  • Be responsible for the management and administration of the entire contract lifecycle for the programmes you support

About You:

  • Commercial awareness with the ability to challenge the team and seek other ways to ensure a positive outcome for the Programme
  • Proven track record in negotiation of contracts of various complexity
  • Project Management, Risk Management & Claims Management experience
  • Contractual drafting experience
