Job Summary

Lidl in Deutschland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Shift Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving and processing inventory, managing stock levels, and coordinating shipments.
  • Work closely with other departments, including logistics and procurement, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including inventory levels, shipping and receiving times, and staff productivity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in a related field (e.g. logistics, supply chain management) preferred.
