Qualifications Required

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a similar capacity, managing a diverse caseload of insurance litigation matters. While experience in the insurance sector is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

We seek a committed individual capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members, leveraging your expertise to provide top-tier advice. You will be responsible for meeting deadlines and overseeing the entire lifecycle of claims, including the review and drafting of documents on behalf of a Partner.

Collaborating with senior solicitors, you will assist our Partner in advancing litigated cases to resolution, taking into account coverage issues, liability, quantum, and strategic considerations.

This position is ideal for those looking to elevate their career from a Junior Solicitor to an Associate role or for those already functioning at that level. You will be a respected role model within Horwich Farrelly, known for your exemplary performance and contributions to your field.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage a caseload of insurance litigation files, which may include aspects of commercial litigation, professional indemnity, and property coverage, utilizing our case management system. Your role will involve assessing files for liability, quantum, coverage, and strategy, while engaging with insurer clients and their customers throughout the process.

You will work closely with a highly regarded Partner in the industry.
