Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Joseph Harry. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing the team's function, identifying areas for improvement, and developing a roadmap for the future. You will work closely with senior members of fixed income portfolio management, engineering managers, and third-party providers to ensure the smooth operation of our data feeds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the team's function and identify areas for improvement

  • Work closely with senior members of fixed income portfolio management, engineering managers, and third-party providers
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our data feeds
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team

Requirements:

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner/Product Manager
  • Good understanding of fixed income- corporate and government bonds and loans (credit/rates)
  • Experience delivering data feed implementations and changes within front or middle offices
  • Familiarity with buy-side fixed income products such as POINT, PORT, BI-SAM or Aladdin
  • Excellent ability to work with stakeholders from the business and technology
  • Ability to write basic scripts in SQL
  • Agile

Desirable Skills:

  • Buy-side experience
  • Python programming skills
  • Experience working with Bloomberg data
