We are seeking a highly skilled Area Planner to join our team at The Guinness Partnership. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in providing a high-quality planning and coordination service for our Responsive Repairs team.
This is a permanent, full-time vacancy, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows for a balance of office and remote work. Initially, you will be based in our Milton Keynes office, where you will undergo a comprehensive training and induction program.
Key Responsibilities- Regional Operations Planning: Provide effective planning of regional operative's diaries, working closely with the regional operational team to support the achievement of operational KPIs.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Coordinate the efficient scheduling of maintenance repairs for operating needs and customer requirements within the area.
- Scheduling System Management: Maintain the scheduling system and provide internal and external customers with timely and accurate information.
- Customer Liaison: Liaise with customer service colleagues in relation to appointments and updating of all systems when operatives report issues.
- Enquiry Resolution: Ensure that all written, electronic, and telephone enquiries are answered and resolved effectively in accordance with agreed service standards and timescales.
- Commercial Support: Work closely with the commercial team in relation to subcontractor's purchase orders and variation orders to ensure continued value for money and commercial procedures are followed.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations when processing customer data, and take appropriate Health and Safety measures to ensure personal safety and the safety of our customers and colleagues.
- Safeguarding: Support the protection and safety of our customers by ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and safeguarding concerns are appropriately identified, monitored, and reported.
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
- Experience of working within agreed performance targets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures, and accurately record data and information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Experience of working with databases.
- Experience of working in social housing.
- Demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours.
- Experience of working with large volume data processing activities.
- Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
- Experience of working with subcontractors.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Experience of working with invoices/accounts.
