Job Title: Lead Engineer - BIW Structures

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join our team at Recruitment Bunker. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of BIW structures, working closely with our engineering analysis team to meet design targets and drive cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and follow company quality, health, safety, and welfare policies.
  • Lead the full design and development of CAD, administration activity; BOM, DVP, Family Tree, and Release activity in-line with the company's NPI process and customer-specific process.
  • Guide engineers in implementing GD&T into designs and lead the team through idea generation and problem resolution.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing to agree feasible manufacturing solutions and control the engineering change process.
  • Communicate design solutions to internal stakeholders and external customers.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent within a relevant subject.
  • Experience and knowledge within BIW structures.
  • Strong ability to use CAD and understand CAE literacy using Catia V5.
  • High level of engineering design knowledge.
  • GD&T and design to manufacturing process awareness.
