We are seeking a skilled, innovative, and enthusiastic senior support practitioner to join our dedicated team in aiding individuals with learning disabilities and additional requirements in their own living environments.

The ideal candidate will exhibit a nurturing, supportive, and empowering demeanor while assisting individuals in their own residences. You will possess the insight and creativity to guide the staff team in delivering the utmost quality of personalized support, tailored to the unique needs of service users. The role encompasses direct assistance, staff training and oversight, as well as collaborative efforts with families and external organizations. You will ensure that high-quality support is extended to service users with learning disabilities and effectively allocate staff in accordance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Support Practitioner:

Overseeing, directing, and mentoring a team of support staff Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures Fostering and maintaining warm, trusting relationships with service users Delivering outcome-oriented support to empower service users to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives, sustain their tenancies, engage in their local communities, cultivate independent living skills, and achieve their personal aspirations and desired outcomes
