Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Disability Support Assistant to join our team in the Horsham/Nhill region. As a Disability Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to lead everyday lives of their choice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Support Plans: Develop and implement personalized support plans that cater to the unique needs, preferences, and interests of our clients.
  • Assist with Daily Living: Provide support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, and household duties.
  • Facilitate Community Involvement: Assist clients in accessing community activities, social events, work, and appointments.
  • Promote Personal Choice and Control: Empower clients to make informed decisions about their lives and support them in exercising their rights.
  • Administer Medication: Safely administer medication to clients as required.

  • Covid-19 Vaccination Status: Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status, including booster.
  • First Aid Certificate: A current First Aid Certificate with CPR or willingness to obtain one.
